The 7 current FIDE member countries are: Australia (AUS) , New Zealand (NZL) , Papua New Guinea (PNG) , Fiji (FIJ) , Solomon Islands (SOL) , Palau (PAL) , Guam .

The 2 other countries where chess is actively played are: New Caledonia , French Polynesia .
